About Good Times at The Hideout

Tired of awkward crowds and waiting room small talk?
Got social anxiety and hate people? (We get it.) That’s why Good Times at The Hideout Barbershop is appointment-only. No walk-in chaos, no fifteen dudes staring at you while you wait your turn — just your time in the chair.
Dope haircuts, clean beard work, and conversations that wander from movies and music to whether cereal is actually soup — all with a playlist that slaps harder than it should.
Keep it local. Keep it real. Book your spot and skip the nonsense.

Two of the Dopest Barbers You'll Ever Meet

Juanito
Juanito grew up all over East LA — Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, Highland Park, El Sereno— basically anywhere the rent was cheap and the neighbors were loud. A projects kid who taught himself guitar, he fell in love with indie movies, sci-fi, fantasy, philosophy, and the art of talking shit while ignoring his own advice. He even went to Burning Man back when it was still cool .
He collects random knick-knacks, changes his mind about everything at least twice a week, and somehow walked out of Cal State LA with a Master’s in Cultural Anthropology — plus a mountain of student loans. That’s probably why he’s such a fan of cash-only businesses.
Juanito trained at the historic Royal Hair Institute in East LA, and has been cutting hair for over 15 years, feeding off the good energy of chill people and turning every cut into equal parts therapy session, roast battle, and neighborhood hangout.
Good Times isn’t just his barbershop — it’s his living room with better lighting, where the Eastside comes to look fresh, talk wild, and feel at home.
Eden
Eden grew up in South LA and somehow ended up with a degree in Anthropology from Cal State LA — which basically means he can cut your hair and explain why humans do dumb things. He’s racked up certificates in everything from mechanics to culinary arts, but the highlight was slinging pizzas at some of LA’s top Italian spots before running off to Napoli to work under the table just to learn how to make the real deal.
He also graduated from the Royal Hair Institute in East LA, so now he can line you up as clean as a fresh pizza crust. When he’s not behind the chair, Eden’s either burning through his AMC pass, yelling at the TV during a game, plotting his next Vegas trip, or talking trash while laughing harder than anyone else in the room.
At Good Times, Eden keeps the vibes loose — good cuts, plenty of jokes, and maybe a story or two you didn’t ask for but will remember anyway.
